Tolland Finance Advisory Committee Meeting Minutes
October 6, 2004
Meeting commenced at 1800 at Tucker's Restaurant Wednesday October 6th 2004.

There will be three competing requests for funding in the very near
future:
* Ambulance.
* Southwick-Tolland Regional School system $5 million building
addition.
* Tolland Highway Department/Fire Department building.
These will be requests over and above the Annual Budget. Other than the STRHS building there have been no proposals officially submitted to the TFAC for review or comment. Ralph Ledger and Ted Locke have attended several presentations in Southwick regarding the need and proposed location of new class rooms.
The members present concurred on the relative merit of meeting at least once a month to address fund transfers and other business needing to be conducted on a regular schedule.
Ted has been spending considerable time and effort working on grants and it is deeply appreciated.
All meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of the month with the November meeting falling on the third, starting at 1800 and the venue will be the Town Hall.
Tolland residents are urged to attend and at this time do not need to be put on the agenda prior to speaking. If, in the future, the number of residents requesting to address the FinCom is lengthy we reserve the option of placing folks on the agenda.
